Reservation terms & contractual terms
The canoe rental price includes a canoe, a paddle, cockpit cover and a paddling vest. During the rental period, you are responsible for the equipment, so treat it with care. For any intentional damages, we will charge the full amount of the cost of repair.
The rental fee must be paid beforehand. We require identification from the renter, so please bring a valid identification card.
The customer who has rented a canoe is obligated to look after the canoe and follow extra caution when using it. The renter commits to using the canoe in an appropriate manner and only for the purposes it is meant for. Giving the canoe to another person or letting another person use it is prohibited. The renter is responsible for the full value of the canoe and any additional equipment. The renter is obligated to compensate any damaged or lost parts or pieces of the canoe or the additional equipment. If the renter has caused the damage on purpose or ignored the rental terms, they must pay for the full price of the damage. The person who rents the canoe is only responsible for damage they caused themselves.
The canoe must be returned to the appointed place after the rental time is up. Taking the canoe outside Finland’s borders is prohibited. Versona has the right to cancel this rental agreement if the renter does not follow these terms.
