OAC skinbased skis is an easy and wonderful new way to enjoy winter nature! Also suitable for international guests with no previous skiing experience. Sturdy, shafted winter boots are suitable for shoes. The skis have a so-called skin sole, which holds even on steep climbs like a snowshoe. If the terrain allows, it is worth trying skiing first on gentler hills and finally, if your skills improve, on steeper descents with the so-called telemark technique. These "Sliders" are 160 cm long and are well suited for outdoor enthusiasts of approx. 165 - 210 cm. The package includes Black Diamond poles. with adjustable length.

Sliding snowshoes can be rented either from the Versona Leivonmäki National Park point at the Selänpohja parking lot at Kansallispuistontie 20, Joutsa! Leivonmäki rental point.

Delivery to other locations, e.g. Jyväskylä, is available for an additional fee.

Note! If you rent the equipment for a day or longer, the rental usually starts at 12 noon and ends at 12 noon on the chosen date. Other times can be agreed upon separately!
